davidgoldfarbSo on Sunday wild_irises has her annual New Year's open house. I usually make Palm Beach Brownies to take to it, so I went to Safeway for ingredients. (You know, things I don't usually have around the apartment, like flour and butter and eggs.)
They had cherries there. Rainier cherries.
Produce of Chile of course. Now, the big new thing in environmentalism is locally-grown food. Not cherries out of season from half the world away. But it's been so long since I've had Rainier cherries....I couldn't help myself.
