Give me one word and I will tell you something related to that word about myself that I am comfortable sharing publicly.

Physics.

Well, the most obvious association I have with physics is that my wife holds a Ph.D in the subject. That's sort of about me, I guess.

I have taken some university-level physics courses, but well over half my life ago.

I've done some acting in plays – audio only, in the public domain, on librivox.org. I'd say the things I'm proudest of are the title role in Doctor Faustus, and the narration in full-cast recordings of the Alice books.

I had a great time being in Jo's Barrayaran Tam Lin play with you at Minicon, long ago now.

I was entirely certain that it was 2002, but checking the Minicon archives shows that you are correct.

David did take some photos. I think maybe your hair and glasses are visible to my right in this one:

Well, I was a last-second addition so I wouldn't have had a name card anyway.

Yes, that is me barely visible next to you. This photo does a better job of showing us both, as does this one.
That was a truly great and memorable con for me, and I think that was the highlight.

I perhaps have some more reason than you to remember the year, as it was also the year that both my grandparents died, and my birth mother found me.
